Nectar describes their mattress as “medium-firm”; however, third-party testing suggests that Nectar is significantly softer than both Douglas and Endy.* This might be too soft (and warm) for many sleepers, especially larger individuals who will sink deeper into the mattress.

Nectar also has gel foam. Unfortunately for Canadian sleepers, Nectar left out their popular phase-change material in the Canadian versions of their mattresses. Luckily, Douglas Alpine and Douglas Summit both have this temperature-balancing technology to help keep your mattress within a desirable temperature range.
And Endy? Unlike Douglas or Nectar, Endy does not have cooling gel foam. Or a cooling cover. Only “open-cell” foam like most mattresses have these days.
